DnB NOR are operating a Full-Service Branch in Shanghai, providing a large range of financial services for corporate clients on the Chinese Mainland.

DnB NOR has a long history in China, the bank (then DnC) established a representative office in Beijing in 1982, as one of the first western banks. Later, as the focal point of international business in China moved to Shanghai, so did DnB NOR in 2003.

With 30 years experience in the Chinese market, DnB NOR can provide valuable advice to our clients on how to do business in China as well as to facilitate daily banking needs. Our staff have long experience in covering the financial needs of industry and shipping clients in China and Norway.

DnB NOR Shanghai will target Corporate Banking and will have the same set up as the other Branches of the DnB NOR Group; we will focus on our core strategic areas of Nordic clients from our home base; Chinese and international Shipping and Energy clients; and we will provide both of these segments with regular banking services as well as FX/Treasury products.
